In the next few days, we’ll launch our furniture store.

It started with an obsession with wood grain that culminated in the Original Penelope Table. I began routing into wood to try to find ways to highlight the natural grain patterns and depth of nice hardwoods, and eventually came up with the motif of (lots and lots of) parallel lines. This is the theme of the line, featuring heavily in every piece of furniture.

The routed texture of the wood ratchets the natural patterns and movement of the wood up to something very special.

The line includes three versions of the Penelope table (named after my dog), as well as a sideboard, coffee table, side table, console table, and a smaller dining table. All pieces will be manufactured by hand to order. We have partnered with Lane 17 to make sure that the furniture produced and sent is of the best quality. Shipping within the United States will be done with a flat rate, and we’ll offer our pieces in a few species of wood.
